Mr. Bythewood is one of the very few attorneys who has achieved a double jeopardy dismissal. (He has achieved this feat once). When still the law of the land, on his motion a federal judge agreed with with him that the mandatory federal sentencing guidelines were unconstitutional.

David has been honored by the American Legion for his wartime service.

He is published and has been voted as one of the top trial lawyers in 2021. He has even been on Court TV with Nancy Grace and others, Fox News, Good Day New York, and CNN.

David is the only lawyer on TV to correctly predict the OJ Simpson case. He was interviewed on Good Day New York. His most notorious client was named Joseph Cambino and he never lost a case for him.
